We want you to be completely satisfied with your portraits!

You can use the following tips to take advantage of our years of experience photographing families, pets and children.
Adults
Relax. It is our job to make you look great. If there is a particular feature you wish for us to emphasize or de-emphasize, please let us know. We can achieve different looks by adjusting lighting, posing and camera angle.
Groups
Consider a location shot. We can capture your group in a lovely natural setting during the spring, summer and fall months. You may want to coordinate your wardrobe. You can choose a theme, such as black on bottom with jewel tone shirts; or you can simply choose a color family. Jewel tones, earth tones, and subdued colors (black, navy, burgundy and gold) are popular choices.
Infants
Make your appointment at a time that your little one is typcially relaxed and happy. Just after nap and feeding works well. Please don't hesitate to bring in a special blanket, toy or family heirloom. Feel free to bring more than one outfit. Try out any new clothing at home first to make sure there is nothing in the fabric that irritates your baby's skin. Many families enjoy a professional portrait of baby with grandparents, Godparents or other significant loved ones.
Children
We capture the best expressions when your child is relaxed, but not tired. As a private portrait studio, we have created a comfortable home-like environment to help put your child at ease. If your younger child has a favorite toy or blanket that will help soothe him or her, please bring it. If your teen-ager has favorite music that will help him or her feel more comfortable, you can bring a CD and we will play it. Younger children generally want a family member close at hand while a self-conscious older child may be more comfortable if Mom leaves the room.
Pets
Let your dog "do his business" in the lawn area adjacent to the building before entering the studio. Please be considerate and clean up any solid waste your pooch leaves behind. Bring a favorite toy or treat that can help us to get your dog's attention. Make your appointment early. We reserve special times for pet potrait work so that we can thoroughly clean for our alergy sensitive customers.
Selection You have several choices in terms of how we process the images we capture for you. You may choose full color, black and white, sepia or black and white with colorization for your portrait. You may want to consider ordering your portrait on canvas. Your portrait is printed on canvas and stretched on a wooden under-frame. An artist then hand paints brush stokes over your portrait and a clear protective coating is applied. The end result is nothing short of spectacular.
We work hard to capture images you will treasure for a lifetime!
